Compliance-first payments / Research Use Only (RUO) Peptide Suppliers

Payment processing for legitimate RUO peptide research suppliers

If you supply peptides for genuine Research Use Only contexts — universities, labs, and credentialed researchers — NoRamp wants to talk. If you do not, we are not the right fit.

Research Use Only peptide supply is one of the most misunderstood corners of payments. There is a legitimate, well-regulated market serving universities, contract research organizations, and credentialed labs — and there is a much larger gray market selling the same molecules to consumers under a thin RUO label. NoRamp will only onboard suppliers operating squarely in the first market. If the public-facing storefront looks like a consumer brand, ships to individuals, or makes any statement about human use, we will decline. How we approach research use only (ruo) peptide suppliers

Stripe-policy aligned

We will only onboard RUO suppliers that operate well within Stripe's Prohibited and Restricted Businesses policy. If a merchant could not pass Stripe review, they will not pass ours.

Researcher verification required

Merchants must demonstrate that their customer base is actually researchers — institutional purchase orders, lab credentials, .edu domains, or equivalent. Consumer-facing storefronts are not accepted.

No human-use marketing

Any dosing instructions, weight-loss claims, anti-aging claims, performance claims, or other human-use marketing is an automatic decline. RUO means RUO.

Active monitoring

We review merchant sites, marketing channels, and order patterns on an ongoing basis. Drift toward consumer sales results in offboarding, with notice.

Frequently asked

Will you process for any RUO peptide vendor?

No. We are deliberately selective. The bar is: your customer base must actually be researchers, your site cannot market to consumers, and your operation must align with Stripe's Prohibited and Restricted Businesses policy. Most applicants do not meet that bar, and that is by design.

How do you verify that customers are actually researchers?

During onboarding we review your customer mix — institutional buyers, purchase order workflows, .edu and lab domains, credentialing requirements. We also review order patterns on an ongoing basis. If consumer orders start showing up, we will raise it with you before any account action.

What disqualifies a peptide supplier?

Any consumer-facing marketing, any dosing or human-use guidance, any anti-aging or weight-loss or performance positioning, retail-style product photography, influencer marketing, or order patterns consistent with consumer sales. Also: any history of regulatory action from the FDA or state attorneys general.
