How NoRamp reviews a Research Use Only peptide application

This is what happens between the moment you apply and the moment we tell you yes or no. We publish it because legitimate suppliers deserve to know what we are looking for, and because applicants who are not legitimate should know there is no step where the shortcut goes unnoticed.

Step one: the automatic-decline screen

Before a human spends time on an application, every domain connected to the business is scanned against our Research Use Only policy. The scan looks for prescription compounds under any name or code, human-use language, consumer formats, injection supplies, clinic or patient framing, and disclaimers that are not present in the HTML the server actually sends. Any hit ends the review. Most applications end here.

The same screen checks the application against your public footprint: processor history, monitoring-program placement, regulatory correspondence, and whether the storefront you applied with is the storefront that exists.

Step two: the underwriting review

For the minority of applicants who pass the screen, a reviewer examines:

  • Customer mix. What share of revenue comes from institutional buyers, .edu domains and credentialed laboratories, and how that is verified at the point of sale. We want to see purchase orders, institutional accounts and net-terms invoicing, not a cart that anyone can check out of.
  • Buyer verification. How you confirm that a buyer is a researcher before you accept an order, what documentation you collect, and what you do when a buyer is not one.
  • Catalog and presentation. Photography, product naming, descriptions, label artwork, URLs, metadata, blog content and the complete absence of human-use indicators. We read every public page, not only the ones you point us to.
  • Marketing channels. Ad placements, content strategy, organic reach, audience composition, and any affiliate, influencer or social presence.
  • Operational history. Chargeback and refund patterns, prior processor relationships, principals and beneficial owners, connected entities and domains, and any regulatory correspondence.
  • Fulfillment. Where orders ship, whether residential addresses are accepted, and whether order size and frequency look like laboratory supply or consumer purchasing.

What to prepare

  • Every domain, brand and entity connected to the business, including ones you consider inactive
  • A description of your customer base with the share of revenue from institutions, and sample purchase orders or institutional account records
  • Your buyer verification workflow and the research-use acknowledgment your checkout requires
  • Your complete processor history, including any application that was declined
  • Principals and beneficial owners
  • Any correspondence from the FDA, FTC, DEA, a state attorney general or an equivalent body, even if you believe it was resolved

Full disclosure is the fastest path through review. An omission discovered during review is treated as misrepresentation, which is an automatic decline regardless of what was omitted.

The decision

You will get a plain answer. If it is yes, onboarding proceeds with the understanding that review never ends: every live storefront is scanned nightly and reviewed by people, and the same conduct that declines an application terminates an account. If it is no, the decision is final, and we will not re-review the same business under a new name.

We do not publish a turnaround time, because the review takes as long as the business requires. A clean institutional supplier with complete disclosure moves quickly. An application that needs us to chase missing information does not.

Frequently asked

How long does NoRamp take to review an RUO peptide application?

Most applications end at the automatic-decline screen quickly. Applicants who pass it are reviewed by a person, and a clean institutional supplier with complete disclosure moves fastest. We do not promise a turnaround time.

Can I apply before my storefront is finished?

No. We review the storefront that exists, every connected domain included. Apply when the site, checkout and buyer verification are live and meet the storefront standard.

Where we stand

NoRamp is the strictest payment processor in the world for Research Use Only. We are on the side of the card networks, the acquiring banks and the regulators, not on the side of a merchant who wants to see how close to the line they can operate. Approval is possible. It is rare, on purpose.
