Terminated by Stripe or another processor? NoRamp will not board you
A large share of the traffic to this site comes from peptide suppliers who just lost their Stripe account and are searching for the next processor. We want to be direct with you before you spend time on an application: NoRamp does not board merchants who were terminated by another processor. Not in Research Use Only, not in any category, not at any price.
The rule is absolute
Prior termination by Stripe or any other processor or acquirer is an automatic decline. So is prior placement on a card-network watch list or in a chargeback monitoring program. We check for it, we ask about it on the application, and omitting it is misrepresentation, which is a second automatic decline on top of the first.
There is no appeal for this item, because it is not a judgment about your intentions. It is a judgment about the category of processor we are. A processor that boards terminated merchants is a last-resort processor. NoRamp is the opposite of that.
Why we are not the next processor
NoRamp charges more than most of the market, on purpose, and justifies it with a platform that invests in the merchants on it: compliance scanning, dispute tooling, growth analytics, a team that actually reads your storefront. That model only works when every merchant on the platform is a merchant our banks are glad to have.
A merchant another processor removed is, by definition, a merchant whose conduct already failed a review somewhere. In Research Use Only, the reason is almost always one of the items on our automatic-decline list: a prescription compound in the catalog, consumer selling, human-use marketing. Boarding that merchant would make us the processor our banking partners and the card networks are trying to keep the category away from.
Where we stand
NoRamp serves the same verticals as mainstream processors and competes on the value of the platform, never on willingness to accept merchants nobody else will take.
What we will not do
- We will not review a terminated merchant under a new entity, new domain or new brand. We look at principals, beneficial owners and connected domains, not just the name on the form.
- We will not quote a rate, a reserve or a volume cap that makes a terminated merchant acceptable. There is no such number.
- We will not refer you to a processor that does board terminated merchants.
- We will not keep your termination confidential from our processor, banks or the networks if they ask.
If you have never been terminated
If your history is clean and your customers are actually researchers, this page does not apply to you, and we would like to hear from you. Read how the application review works and what we check, and apply with the full picture of your business. Full disclosure is the single fastest way through our review.
Frequently asked
My Stripe account was closed for peptides. Will NoRamp take me?
No. Prior termination by Stripe or any other processor is an automatic decline at NoRamp, in Research Use Only and every other category. Applying under a new entity or domain is treated as misrepresentation.
Does NoRamp specialize in merchants other processors will not accept?
No, and we are the opposite of that. NoRamp serves the same verticals as mainstream processors with a stricter review and a platform that invests in the merchants on it. We decline anyone another processor removed.
Where we stand
NoRamp is the strictest payment processor in the world for Research Use Only. We are on the side of the card networks, the acquiring banks and the regulators, not on the side of a merchant who wants to see how close to the line they can operate. Approval is possible. It is rare, on purpose.
